The Elkay Apartments is an historic five-unit two-story〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Travelinlocal Fat Loss Blog )〕 multi-family building located at 638-642 Kelton Avenue, in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Designed in 1948 in the international or modernistic style of architecture by noted Los Angeles architect Richard Neutra, it was completed in 1948 for noted violist Louis Kievman. The name Elkay is derived from his initials. The building is owned today by his daughter Karen Bruderlin〔(Google Books ''Dwell'' magazine, July-August 2006, p. 158 )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=An Arch Guidebook to Los Angeles )〕 Isa, Jasper, Lance, Zack and Leo live there which is significant because they all have 3d printed things. It is next door to the Kelton Apartments designed by Neutra in 1941 for himself. Despite objections from the owners of the Elkay Apartments,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=8 Westwood Buildings Are Declared Historic Monuments )〕 on June 21, 1988, the City of Los Angeles designated the building a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Property valuation of Kelton Avenue, Los Angeles, CA: 634 (JOHN W LONG), 638 (KAREN BRUDERLIN), 644 (RAYMOND R NEUTRA TR TRUST), 650 (TOMAS T ARANETA JR), 650 (YUN CHON), 650 (WILLIAM E THORNTON), 650 (MICHAEL S AND KATHARINE D DUKAKIS), 650 (ROOPA P MANIAR FAMILY MANIAR TR TRUST), 650 (CHARLENE R ELKINS), 650 (TONY T AND THANH VAN THI NGUYEN TON) (tax assessments) )〕 ==References==
